Kean University proudly recognizes undergraduate students named to the Fall 2024 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. The Dean's List recognizes undergraduate students who have completed at least 12 credits and achieved a GPA of 3.45 or higher.

Kean University proudly recognizes the 3,959 undergraduate students named to the Spring 2024 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement.

More than 3,100 students were named to the Fall 2022 Dean's List at Kean University. "Earning a place on the Dean's List is a tremendous accomplishment. It demonstrates that each student has gone the extra mile in their coursework so that they can thrive academically and professionally once they graduate," said Kean President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D. "This is what we mean when we say Kean Cougars climb higher, and we couldn't be more proud of their success." Selection to the Dean's List is based on successful completion of at least 12 credits with a grade point average of 3.45 or higher.

Kean University celebrated the Class of 2023 with a joyful Graduate Commencement ceremony held at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Tuesday, May 16. A total of 511 students earned advanced degrees from the Union, New Jersey, university.

Kean University's Undergraduate Commencement ceremony turned Prudential Center in Newark into a sea of Kean blue on Thursday, May 18. A total of 2,083 students earned bachelor's degrees from the Union, New Jersey, university.

Twenty students in the Kean University Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program were presented with their white coats. All of the students are in their final year of the graduate DPT program and received the honor as they prepared to enter their clinical experience. The White Coat Ceremony in physical therapy is a rite-of-passage event, which represents the students' transition from classroom learning to hands-on, experiential learning in clinical settings.

A total of 1,123 students from Kean University's six colleges who achieved the highest levels of academic achievement were recognized during the University's annual Honors Convocation celebration.

Eighteen students in Kean University's inaugural Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) class received their white coats during a ceremony recently held on Kean's Union, New Jersey campus. The family of Hannah Syed, a member of the class who passed away earlier this year, was also presented with a coat. The White Coat Ceremony is a traditional rite of passage that represents the PA students' transition from classroom learning to a year of clinical practice. The students will rotate through various hospital and clinical settings until the Fall of next year. In January 2024, they will be the first graduates of the physician assistant program at Kean's newly formed College of Health Professions and Human Services.
